Recently much of the world's attention was held captive by the global media coverage of the George Zimmerman trial. As for my two cents on the subject,I think that the entire matter was yet another sad example of how politics poisons everything.I mean here were two people who were hurting in their differing ways, neither of whom were apparently able to source the empathy/support they needed when it would have mattered.
Eventually these two hurting people collided and one of them ended up dead and the other was left with the remains of his life shattered, and the only reaction of the society that so completely failed both these men was to seek maximum exploitation of their tragedy in service of the very lowest form of politics.
